I specially went to check the well-known pizzeria La Bella Vita, and I must say the pizza we had was fantastic. Very tiny bread, but full of cheese and other stuff. Absolutely well baked, nothing black on the other side! So we were happy, and surely I will come back.

I've ordered the Pasta Gamberetti which was delicious and was served with lots of fresh shrimps! The kids really enjoyed the Pizza de Banana! The service was good and the music not too loud. All in all a great dinner.

Totally recommend visiting La Bella Vita, Porto Covo! From food, to service and atmosphere it was all 5* service.
I was visiting Porto Covo with some friends when we decided to visit this restaurant for dinner. No booking allowed (at least in busy weekend days). A table was set for 8 in the most cosy corner of the restaurant.
From the menu we choose several pizzas and a bolognese, all were divine! I am sorry i can not recall all the pizzas name by heart, but I left the photos! The drinks were mostly beer and water. I tried the white wine from the house and my friend tried the red - both were good. They also have a quite extensive list of wines to choose from.
The staff was very nice and attentive to customers needs. It was my friends birthday and they even offered an after dinner drink.
The atmosphere is great and friendly either for a date, a family meal (with kids) or as a bigger group meal.
Price x quality ration: very good!
I am truly glad I visited La Bella Vita!

Dined here last night by chance and was very pleasantly surprised. The interior is very nice and is very professional. The staff were attentive and very polite and luckily spoke English. I had the pasta di mare and it was beautiful. Cooked well and tasted heavenly. Accompanied by a couple of Super Bock. Thank you.

Situated in a pedestrianised zone with multiple eateries it’s easy to overlook this rather excellent Pizzeria. However, we take a hundred mile road trip to eat here, that’s how great the pizza is, and really good deserts too. Certainly the best Pizza we have found in Portugal, and one of the best anywhere we have visited.

This is a busy but amazing restaurant. Good vibes, situated at the top of the shopping strip. Food was excellent and good size portions I actually struggled to eat all. Fantastic value also...

Usually I get the delicious thin crust pizza, but tonight went for the Lombo. It was out of this world. Perfectly cooked, melt in your mouth medium rare with a touch of sea salt. A mixture of colorful grilled veggies I've not seen anywhere else. And of course, terrific fries. We topped it off with a shared rich chocolate mousse with whipped cream.

Even though the restaurant specializes in pizzas, there is also some traditional Alentejano and Portuguese dishes. Make sure you order Tábuas Bella Vita as a starter. Good service and food quality. You can also pay by card.

Excellent pizza, good wine and excellent service. Our only criticism was our shrimp starter had more shrimp heads than shrimps, making it look like we got more shrimps. Bit disappointing but what we got was delicious.
